This is an especially positive sign in a bear market, because it implies that miners are confident in the network\u2019s future growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt;\">This confidence leads us to our next point, which is\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>Preparing for the Halving<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You may already know that Litecoin operates in <\/span><b>4 year cycles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; from one halving to another. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.litecoinblockhalf.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Halving<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> here means reducing the reward miners get for mining a block by 50%.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reward has already decreased from <\/span><b>50 LTC<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> after the blockchain launch to <\/span><b>12,5 LTC <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">today. The halving mechanism is programmed into the Litecoin algorithm to limit the maximum amount of LTC that can be minted. Solana investors have been very optimistic about the blockchain because of its recent success in the NFT sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt;\">On top of that, Solana\u2019s NFT sector has seen a surge of attention as of late too, with the total number of NFTs released on the blockchain reaching a total of<strong> 19.3%<\/strong> quarter-over-quarter, only for it to reach a total of <strong>8 million<\/strong> in Q3 2022.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt;\">Interestingly, along with Polygon, Instagram added support for <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Meta\/status\/1587929277864910849?s=20&amp;t=wE0VPQi85qG3oTrBDYrXlA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Solana-based NFTs<\/a> which users can <strong>create, sell and purchase NFTs<\/strong> on the social platform!. Of course, this is great news for Solana, making its supporters hopeful about future.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><b>Conclusion\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Though Bitcoin has recently been <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/bitcoin-is-now-less-volatile-than-s-p-500-and-nasdaq\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">announced<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> less volatile than S&amp;P500 and Nasdaq, the crypto market is currently showing the highest volatility since September events.
